Formatting settings
On this wizard screen you can customize Comma Separated Values (CSV)
formatting settings to ensure the program interprets your CSV file correctly.
First, you should specify which delimiter separates CSV fields. Also you can
manage the following conversion settings on this page:
- Extract MySQL field names from the first row - select this
checkbox to extract MySQL field names from the first row of each worksheet.
Otherwise, Excel-to-MySQL generates field names as
F<field number> (e.g. F1, F2, F32, etc).
- Refine type conversion - select this checkbox to allow
the program to improve type mapping during the conversion process. See
Refine type conversion article for related
information.
