Oracle to PostgreSQL converter does not require ODBC drivers or any other middleware. It requires necessary privileges to read Oracle data and meta-data (list of tables, information about columns, indexes, etc) and to write into PostgreSQL database for direct migration scenario.
If direct connection to PostgreSQL server is not available, the application can convert Oracle database into script file. This script file contains PostgreSQL statements to create all tables and to fill them with the data. Click here to learn how to import dump file into PostgreSQL database.
The program can run on Windows XP(SP2 or SP3)/2003/Vista/Server 2008/7/8/10 and Linux with WINE.
